Inconsistent symbol formatting BSE
-
weekly expiry symbol format are different for BSE while NSE follow same format. Is this format temporary bug or permanent ? At least follow one standard format for both weekly and monthly.

@admin I understand that, my query is why different naming structure for bse weekly contracts from rest of the instruments?
EX:
weekly contract SENSEX25O1682000CE
monthly contract SENSEX25OCT82000CEcan you see instead of 'OCT' weekly contracts using 'O' and monthly contracts missing Day
can you guys update all NSE BSE instruments to follow one format structure like this NSE contracts currently usedSYMBOL_DDMMMYY_STRIKE_INSTRUMENT TYPE
NIFTY20OCT2525000PEit will be helpful when generate signal don't have to check master instrument every time
Thank you
