Historical Candle API HTTP 403 Forbidden – NIFTY_AI

    Hello SmartAPI Support Team,

    I am facing HTTP 403 Forbidden errors while fetching Historical Candle Data using Angel One SmartAPI.

    My setup:

    • App Name: NIFTY_AI
    • API Type: Trading
    • Platform: Google Apps Script
    • Endpoint: /rest/secure/angelbroking/historical/v1/getCandleData
    • Exchange: NSE
    • Symbol Token: 99926000 (NIFTY)
    • Interval: FIVE_MINUTE
    • Failed Request: 22 October 2026, 09:32 IST
    • Requested Range: 21 October 2026 09:32 to 22 October 2026 09:32

    Current status:

    • SmartAPI login works.
    • Live market quotes work.
    • Option Greeks API works.
    • Historical Candle API returns HTTP 403 Forbidden.
    • Primary Static IP is configured in my SmartAPI dashboard.
    • My application runs on Google Apps Script.

    Please check and confirm:

    1. Is Historical Candle API access enabled for my account and API app?
    2. Is a registered Static IP mandatory for Historical Candle API?
    3. Are Google Apps Script requests allowed for this endpoint?
    4. Is this error caused by IP restrictions, API permissions, rate limits, or another server-side restriction?
    5. What exact steps are required to resolve HTTP 403?

    Please investigate the issue and provide a solution.
